The Settings section lets business owners or administrators configure GoodVibes POS before the team starts using it.After setup, you can manage the remaining configuration under Settings in the Top Bar.Once configured, your team can start using the POS without changing these settings.1. Locations#
A Location represents a physical or virtual place where you take orders, such as a shop, restaurant, branch, or delivery-only kitchen.A single-location business already has one Location created during setup. If your business has multiple branches or temporary locations, you can add more.The Locations page shows the following information: Name, Type, Timezone, Status and Default location.1.1 Add a Location#

Go to Settings → Locations.

Enter the Name and, if needed, a Nickname.

Select the Timezone and click Save.
Select the star icon to make a location the Default. Select the pencil icon to edit a location or Export to download the location list.2. Team#
The Team page helps you manage employees and their work information.The Employees tab shows information such as: Email, Phone, Status, Hourly Rate, Locations and Clock StatusSelect an employee's name to open their profile. The profile shows their status, clock status, number of assigned locations, and hire date. It also includes Profile, Timesheet, and Schedule tabs.2.1 Assign an Employee to a Location#

Select the employee's name.

In the Locations panel, click on Drop Down.

Search for and select the location.

3. Receipt Settings#
The Receipt Template Editor controls the appearance of printed and emailed receipts. You can customize the receipt directly from the live preview. Select a section of the preview to edit it.Paper size: 58mm, 80mm, or A4.
Receipt header and footer.
Order and payment information.
A receipt can also show the order number, date and time, cashier name, queue number, line items, modifiers, discounts, subtotal, total, tips, payment method, change, customer details, and secondary currency amounts.When to Update Receipt SettingsReceipt settings are useful when:Adding a thank-you message.
Changing the paper size after changing printers.
Adding Wi-Fi details for customers.
Showing totals in a second currency.
3.1 Customize the Receipt#

Go to Settings → Receipt Settings.

Set the number of Copies.
5.
Select a section in the preview to edit it.
6.
Check the Preview as you make changes.
4. Customer Display#
The Customer Display is a second screen facing the customer during checkout. It can show promotional content when idle and display the customer's order and total while the cashier is processing the order.The Customer Display can help:Customers see exactly what they are being charged and order.
Promote seasonal products or loyalty programs.
Provide useful information while the customer is waiting.
4.1 Set Up the Customer Display#

Go to Settings → Customer Display.

Select Side Type and Upload an image in PNG, JPG, SVG, or WebP format.

Enter a Title (required).
5.
(Optional) Fill in the extra details as needed: Description, Badge Text / Badge Type (e.g. "20% OFF"), Price / Original Price, and Footer Text (e.g. "Available until April 30").

Set Valid From and Valid Until — the slide only shows in this date range.
7.
Set the Slide Duration with the slider — how many seconds it stays on screen.
The finished slide shows the image, the badge as a small pill, and the title underneath, in the order they'll appear on the customer-facing screen.5. Discounts#
The Discounts section lets you create coupons and promotions that can be applied during checkout.Discount types can include Fixed Amount, Percentage and Buy X Get Y. The scope can apply to a Line Item, Category, or Order.Discounts are useful for:Offering a percentage discount on an order, category, or item.
Creating promotions such as Buy 2 Get 1 Free.
Creating coupon codes for customers.
Limiting promotions to specific locations.
Running seasonal promotions for a specific date range.
5.1 Add a Discount#

Go to Settings → Discounts.

Enter a Coupon Code, or leave it blank to generate one automatically. And Set the Status, Type, and Value.

Select the Scope: Line Item, Category, or Order. Then Enter Discount Amount.
6.
Set the Start Date and End Date if needed.
7.
Set Max Uses if you want to limit how many times the discount can be used.
8.
Under Locations, select + Add to limit the discount to specific locations.
9.
If Scope is Category, under Category, select + Add to set the specific category the discount applies to.
Note: Once saved, go to the Order screen and select the Coffee category. Every item in it now shows the discount applied (e.g. 5% off, per the September Coffee Special example above).
8. Notification Templates#
