The Operations menu in the Top Bar provides tools for managing restaurant and kitchen operations. These include the Restaurant Floor Plan, Kitchen Display and Kiosk.The features available depend on your Business Type. Restaurants can use Tables, Kitchen Display, and Kiosk while Retail stores can use the Kiosk.Some common terms used in this section are:Floor Plan: the visual layout of your seating area.
Table: a seating spot shown on the floor plan.
Kitchen Ticket: a ticket showing the items the kitchen needs to prepare.
1. Restaurant – Floor Plan#
The Restaurant page includes three tabs: Floor Plan, Reservations, and Waitlist.1.1 Floor Plan#
The Floor Plan shows a visual layout of your seating area. Tables can appear as rectangles, circles, or squares. Each table shows its name, number of seats, and current status.One location can have multiple floor plans, such as 1st Floor and 2nd Floor. Use the floor selector to switch between them.At the top of the page, four status cards show the number of tables that are: Available, Occupied, Reserved
and Cleaning.Each table also uses a color to show its current status.The Floor Plan helps your team manage tables and seating more efficiently.Servers can quickly see which tables are available or occupied.
Hosts can identify available tables when seating customers.
Kitchen staff can see the table number on kitchen tickets.
Managers can use table information in sales reports.
1.2 View the Floor Plan#
Go to Operations → Restaurant. The Floor Plan tab opens by default.
Use the floor selector to switch between floor plans.
Check the Available, Occupied, Reserved, and Cleaning cards to see the current table status.
Select a table to view its available options.
Drag a table to change its position on the floor plan.
1.3 Add a Table or Section#

Click + Add Table to add a new table to the floor plan.

Click + Add Section to create a labeled area for a group of tables, such as Patio.

Click + New Floor Plan to create another floor plan for the location.
1.4 Share a Table QR Code#
Select All QR Codes to view the QR codes for all tables.
Customers can scan a table's QR code with their phone to place an order from their table.
2. Kitchen Display#
The Kitchen Display shows kitchen tickets in real time. It displays tickets for the selected location and prep station.Each ticket can show the following information:Order type, such as Dine-In,or Online
Items that need to be prepared
The number at the top shows how many new tickets are waiting.You can switch between Station and Overview views. The Station view shows tickets for one prep station, while the Overview view shows tickets across all prep stations.
The Kitchen Display replaces paper tickets with a real-time digital view.It helps kitchen staff see new orders, track waiting time, and remove completed orders from the screen.Items are automatically routed to the appropriate prep station based on their category. For example, a restaurant can have separate Bar, Hot Line, and Pastry stations.2.1 Use the Kitchen Display#
Before using the Kitchen Display, make sure your Prep Stations are configured. Without prep stations, kitchen tickets will not appear.Go to Operations → Kitchen Display.
Select the prep station, such as Kitchen.
Select Start on a ticket when preparation begins.
Select Bump when the order is ready to remove the ticket from the screen.
3. Kiosk – Customer Self-Ordering#
The Kiosk / Self-Service feature allows customers to place their own orders using a self-service screen, usually a tablet located near the entrance or counter.The Kiosk Status panel shows whether the kiosk is Enabled or Disabled.The Configuration panel contains settings such as Welcome Message, Idle Timeout, Requires Customer Info and Allow Custom TipA self-service kiosk can help your business:Reduce queues during busy periods.
Give customers another way to place orders.
Provide an always-available ordering option.
Collect customer information when required.
